The Institute for Research and Innovation in Health (IRIS) is a newly established research centre at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC).

Its mission is to drive cutting-edge scientific inquiry and technology development to address major health challenges. IRIS aims to translate scientific knowledge into tangible solutions that improve human health, foster a resilient and sustainable healthcare system, and promote innovation through interdisciplinary collaboration.
